This position serves as a senior-level IT project manager, providing oversight, leadership, and accountability for multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously or for a single large project. Responsibilities include:
• Functioning as a PMO resource to DTMB managers, supervisors, and staff involved in application maintenance and development.
• Developing, maintaining, and overseeing project schedules that are logical and resource-driven.
• Maintaining the change control process, managing, and tracking changes in scope.
• Identifying project issues and risks, escalating to senior management as appropriate.
• Monitoring project performance, reporting status, and facilitating the creation of action plans to ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Interacting with various teams to develop and maintain project schedules and related documents.
• Assisting in information gathering, budget analysis, project estimating, and procurement.
• Providing assistance on special projects and promoting compliance with the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE), potentially utilizing Scrum methodology and practices.
